  Wardrobe &
Work Program

During his scheduled appointment, the client is prepared for a “King for the Day” shopping experience! Our goal is to increase individual self-esteem by providing each client with new or gently used clothing and accessories only. Each client is suited by a professional volunteer wardrobe assistant. In addition to receiving clothing, each client receives a personal hygiene kit*, a voucher for one complimentary haircut* and a M.E.N.S. Wear, Inc. Power Pack. Career counseling and follow-up support is also provided.

An eligible client must:

1. Be referred by a job-training, job-placement or employment service provider (ESP) that is a registered organization with MWI.

2. Have a scheduled interview, actively attending job fairs, or recently* employed.

  About the Founder

Angelia O’Neal
Founder/President

Ms. O’Neal has a passion for building strong families, entrepreneurship, empowering others, fashion and music. A native of Detroit, MI she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from Eastern Michigan University. Upon graduation, Ms. O’Neal (formerly Angelia Clark) started a career in retailing as a Merchandising Manager for J.C. Penney, Inc. in Ann Arbor, MI.—recipient of the most outstanding summer intern in Michigan Southeast region. In addition, she assisted with launching a fashion publication.

Soon after, Ms. O’Neal worked as a teacher for Detroit Public Schools and later worked for a major mall developer—assisting with launching a mall’s website. Relocating to Atlanta in 2002, Ms. O’Neal began working at Greenbriar Mall as the Marketing Assistant and later became a Warm Spirit Consultant. Afterward, she was employed at the American Red Cross as the Minority Recruitment Representative for Metro Atlanta.

Ms. O’Neal also holds a diploma in Radio Broadcasting and is an experienced on-air radio announcer and board operator. Ms. O’Neal has received certificates from various entrepreneur and business programs. Currently, Ms. O’Neal facilitates the 10-week Life Skill & Employment Readiness Curriculum for MWI, maintains the daily operations and innovate business development.
